26 year old went to endoscopy told the secretary verbally about her allergies to anesthesia instead of putting it on the questionnaire. Nurse and doctor didn’t review anything, in a rush got sedated quickly. 3 days in ICU, loss of peripheral nerves upper and lower exts for days.

Second part is positive encounter
The same 26 year old was referred to a neurologist and it was a positive experience. The whole team was wonderful. A lot of teaching and education about her condition, was sent for MRI right away and received a lot of compassion from the team. This is a positive, memorable experience .
